1. What we collect
Your email address (for sign-in and notifications); the paper titles, IDs and short names you submit; analysis jobs, your review choices and the reports generated; and the minimal access logs (IP, time) needed to prevent abuse.
2. What we don't collect
We don't ask for passwords. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.
3. How we use it
Only to provide the analysis, send sign-in codes and completion notices, prevent abuse and improve quality.
4. Third-party services
To run an analysis, paper titles and public data are sent to services such as DeepSeek (AI analysis), OpenAlex, arXiv and SerpApi (Google Scholar). We don't send them your email address.
5. Shared results for the same paper
Retrieval and analysis results for the same paper are shared between users (they are public data). Your review choices and reviewed reports belong to you alone.
6. Retention and deletion
Reports and job records are stored on our servers. To delete your account or data, email support@citeimpact.app.
7. Cookies
We use only two essential cookies, your sign-in session and your language preference. No advertising or tracking cookies.
